It’s been quite some time since I haven’t taken a flight. I used to go to the US and to Brazil fairly often, but all of cards and privileges have expired a long time ago. Still, I have an account with Air France, and after the open day, going home by train would have taken about 7 hours. On a flight, it is only two, so I get to see my family this evening.
I left from Marseille to Nantes, flying through Paris. That was a good plan, but I didn’t expect it to be snowing in Paris. The landing wasn’t too bad, but the plane had to be deiced before we left Paris, which meant a few delays, and the flight was completely full, so no space for my legs. The fact that the restaurants in CDG Terminal 2F seem to be a lot worse than I remember them doesn’t help.
I took a few pictures to show the kids, and Elena did ask me if we could have landed on the clouds to walk around. Cute. There were lots of fluffy clouds, but that also means a lot of turbulence. That wasn’t the nicest flight I’ve ever had. Still, I did get back home (late, but safe and sound), and now I can try and relax a bit.
